1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VisaResume.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Service Description
VisaResume.com provides an AI-powered resume optimization tool designed to help users align their professional experience with immigration job classification systems across multiple countries, including but not limited to Canada (NOC), Australia (ANZSCO), the United Kingdom (SOC), the United States (SOC/BLS), Germany (KldB), Singapore (SSOC), Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden (SSYK), and the UAE (ISCO).
Important limitations:
- VisaResume.com is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice of any kind.
- Our Service provides resume formatting and optimization assistance only — it is not immigration consulting.
- AI-generated content may contain errors and should always be reviewed by a qualified immigration attorney or registered consultant before use in a visa application.
- We do not guarantee any specific immigration outcome, visa approval, or program eligibility.
- Immigration rules and job classification systems change frequently. Always verify current requirements with the relevant government authority.
3. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to the following:
- You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all information you provide through our forms.
- You must not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information. Submitting inaccurate information to a resume optimization tool for use in an immigration application may have serious legal consequences for which VisaResume.com is not responsible.
- You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our AI systems, prompts, or classification data.
- You must not use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or servers.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
4. Payment Terms
Some features of the Service require a one-time payment ("Paid Plan"):
- Pricing — Current pricing is displayed on the Pricing page before checkout. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Payment processing — All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- One-time payment — Paid plans are one-time purchases that grant access to the specific features described at the time of purchase. There are no recurring charges unless otherwise indicated.
- Refund policy — You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing support@visaresume.com with your order details. Refunds are granted at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline refund requests where the service has been fully delivered and downloaded.

5. Intellectual Property
The following intellectual property rights apply to the Service:
- Our property — The VisaResume.com brand name, logo, website design, software, AI prompts, classification data, and all other elements of the Service are owned by or licensed to VisaResume.com. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials without written permission.

6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- VisaResume.com is NOT an immigration law firm, immigration consultant, or Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). We are a software tool.
- AI-generated resume content should be independently reviewed by a qualified immigration attorney before submission to any government authority.
- We do not guarantee that use of our Service will result in a visa application being approved or that your resume will meet any particular immigration officer's requirements.
- Resume optimization is advisory in nature and does not constitute legal counsel, immigration advice, or a professional assessment of your visa eligibility.
- The accuracy of job classification code matching depends on the information you provide and our underlying data, which may not reflect the most recent government updates.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VisaResume.com and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service.
- Any decisions you make based on content generated by the Service.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
- Any immigration application outcome, visa denial, or related consequence.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VisaResume.com and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action.
